Prepare your student
for the 21st century

Smaller
Class
Sizes

With each grade consisting of one class, our higher staff to student ratio allows for a more intimate education. Our teachers really know the students and understand what they need to reach their full potential.

Personalized
Subject
Levels

Each student learns at their own pace, which is why our subjects aren’t based on age but on their confidence and skill level. For each class, our students will individualize their school experience and be with peers and teachers who challenge them to be their best.

Strong
Entrepreneurship
Presence

Our eighth and ninth grade students focus on using the critical thinking and independent lessons they’ve learned to create their own projects. From finding a solution to a problem to monetizing and planning how to make it happen, our students pursue their own passions.

We have the best STAFF and TEACHERS - they go above and beyond their duty to help your child be successful. Student/teacher ratio is fantastic and Parent/teacher communication has always been clear and open. The principal is AMAZING and very proactive and hands on.

John Hancock Charter School is an exceptional school with opportunities for children’s education rarely found anywhere. I chose to send my child there for the small class size, the outstanding curriculum, and orchestra program.

Individualized school experience

While students work on their personal projects, they’re making all the decisions for their education. They choose when they want to come into our school and get mentorship from teachers who know their goals. When they’re not getting hands-on help from peers and teachers, they’re working at home on their projects or other online core classes. Taking ownership of their projects that interest them like this helps students feel the motivation that’s often harder to find when studying in a more traditional classroom setting.
